GOOD LUCK

DO YOU KNOW THE CORRECT PREPOSITION TO BE USED?

generally, the sort of rule is...

with something (a thing or event)
to someone
in an activity or time

so
good luck with the match
good luck with the new invention
good luck with the interview
good luck with the exam

(have good luck at that time, so the activity has a good outcome - it is the RESULT that counts)

good luck to you
good luck to all those playing in the match

good luck in the exam
good luck in you new job
good luck in the future

this is different from 'with' because it means have good luck during that time, so you will be happy and successful WHILE you are doing it.

(of course, with an exam, that would also produce a good result, but the wish for good luck is slightly different from 'with')
