PRESENT PERFECT

SEMESTRE III

Hola chicos,

Vamos a ver la unidad 4A.
Por favor hagan el ejercicio 1b página 28 "Teenagers have annoying habits".

1. Escriban en el texto "P" si lo dice un padre o una "T" si lo dice un adolescente.
2. Busquen en el diccionario las palabras en amarillo.

Vocabulary:

a) Housework
b) make  do

1. Resuelvan la página 154. Vocabulario de "housework".

En español tenemos sólo un verbo "hacer", pero en inglés hay dos: "make" & "do".

We use 'make' when we create or construct something. For example:
  • She made a cake.
  • I've made us some coffee.
  • Did you really make those trousers?
We use 'do' for general activities. In this case, 'do' is often used with 'something', 'nothing', 'anything' or 'everything':
  • What did you do at the weekend?
  • I didn't do anything yesterday.
  • She's fed up with doing everything herself. She needs some help.
  • Are you doing anything interesting during the holidays?
Hay expresiones, sin embargo, que llevan 'make' o 'do' necesariamente y hay que aprendérselas de memoria.

2. Resuelvan página 154 ejercicio 'make' or 'do'
